  1. Hello!
Do you use this brand? Do you like it? How do you find it compared to the other top brands?
Also, is this a zipper bag?

  2. Hello,
    thanks for your questions.
Yes I do use this brand and I find it good.
AVA is the 3rd most sold brand in Italy along with Dash and Dixan. Dixan is probably a step ahead but AVA is still a very good detergent.
(P.S. I'm talking about the AVA made in Italy)
No, this is not a zipper bag but a classic refill bag.

  3. Thank you very much, Ingemar!
I just bought a box of Italian Ava, but it was ridiculously cheap - 40 washes for 7.50 euro. That's why I wondered if it was good or not so good.
Anyway. I don' want to forget to praise you for your great collection. I'm especially intrigued by these old Yugoslavian Persil powders in linen bags and the vintage Tide box and, of course, many other things. It's very curious to see how the package designs are changed over the years.

  4. You are welcome!
Thank you for all the compliments!
Yes indeed the price you mentioned is really ridiculous for 40 washes. The latest Italian AVA is now called AVA Max3.
I'm very fascinated by the different packaging and by the bright colors used to attract the attention of the consumer.

  5. That's what I have - Ava MAX3 powder.

I agree the package is very good. In fact all Reckitt Benckiser packages have great designs: beside the colours, the logos are distinctive and the fonts are unique. Compared to the "plain" white and green/blue Persil/Dixan boxes, these "shine". Unfortunately RB products are very overpriced and Persil/Dixan (Henkel) is the best detergent despite the simple package.

Speaking of packaging, the new boxes of the English detergent Surf are just beautiful.
